Common Questions

Quick answers. Call us for advice specific to your system.

How often should a septic tank be pumped?

Most household tanks need pumping every 3–5 years. The right interval depends on tank size, household size and water use. We can suggest a schedule and send you a reminder.

What are the signs of a full septic tank?

Slow drains, gurgling plumbing, sewage odors indoors or in the yard, wet or unusually green spots over the drain field, and backups into the house. If you notice these, call soon. Waiting can lead to costly drain field damage.

How often do grease traps need cleaning?

It depends on trap size and kitchen volume. Many busy kitchens need service every 1–3 months, and a common rule of thumb is to clean before fats, oils and grease fill about a quarter of the trap. Check your local requirements. We'll set a schedule that fits and keep service records for you.
